The route will start in the beautiful Glen Nevis, and follow the Mountain Path on the side of Meall an T-Suidhe, before reaching 'The Halfway Lochain' at 600m. From here, the Mountain Path crosses The Red Burn, before tackling the 'Zig-Zags', walking at a steady angle, to gain the summit plateau of Ben Nevis. From the edge of the plateau, a further 1km of gentle up-hill leads to the summit of Ben Nevis, 1344m above sea level. This route will be reversed in descent.
